“Whale Song” was inspired by the annual migration of the various whales along the west coast of Vancouver Island, including the humpbacks.
This piece has been professionally photographed and colour-matched for fine art reproduction. “Giclée” is the term used to describe these archival-quality prints that use top-of-the-line materials and methods. With proper care, they will last beyond a lifetime.

Paper Prints
Paper prints are done on fine art watercolour paper which has a subtle yet beautiful texture. The prints are trimmed to fit the exact dimensions listed, with the exception of the 8x10” prints (which come with an additional 0.5” white border). Please note that to achieve standard, easy-to-frame dimensions, it may require cropping the original image.
Canvas Prints
Open-edition canvas prints are unlimited. They are stretched and ready-to-hang on 0.75" stretcher bars, and are finished with a clean taped black edge.
Limited-edition prints are limited to runs of 100, and come with a certificate of authenticity. They are stretched and ready-to-hang on 1.5" stretcher bars, and are finished with a clean taped black edge.
Framing
Fine art paper prints require framing. Sorry, we do not yet make frames for paper prints, but these can be found easily online or in stores.
While canvas prints are ready-to-hang and do not require framing, custom-built frames are available upon request and truly elevate the presentation of this artwork.
Shipping
$30 flat-rate shipping is available within Canada. International shipping is available upon request. Local pick up in Victoria or Ladysmith BC is also an option.
